[Sourcing Core]

You have now set up a tender that is in the **Preparation** stage and are ready to publish it.

> ⚠️ **Note:** This article assumes you are logged in as a buyer and your subscription package must allow direct publications via the **Sourcing Core** module.

### Task List Before Publishing

On the right-hand side of the page, you will find a **Task List** that reminds you which items must be completed before you go to **Publish** **tender**

These include:

- **Tender Information** – Enter tender information
- **Documents** – Upload procurement documents
- **Invite Suppliers** – Invite suppliers (if applicable)

You can tick the checkboxes while setting up the tender and completing each item one by one, or just before publishing, to track your progress. This step is **optional** and will not prevent publication as long as all required information has been completed. If any required information is missing, the system will display a warning message on the Publish page, indicating which details need to be completed before you can proceed.

### Ready to Publish

1. Click **Publish Tender**.
2. A pop-up window will appear displaying a summary of the tender details.

You can then choose how the tender will be made available:

- **Make available for Mercell suppliers** – The tender will be published to suppliers using the Mercell platform who are monitoring business opportunities matching the tender. This option is enabled by default, which can help increase competition and improve the chances of finding the best supplier.
- **Invite selected suppliers only** – Disable **Make available for Mercell suppliers** if you want the tender to be accessible only to the suppliers you have added manually.

> 📝 Both options can also be used **simultaneously**, meaning the tender will be published publicly while invitations are also sent directly to selected suppliers.

3. Selecting **Add custom message** (optional) opens a text field where you can include a message for suppliers invited directly. This message will appear in their invitation emails.
4. Click **Publish**.

> ✅ Once published, the tender stage will change from **Preparation** to **Bid Submissions**.
