Having discovered a business opportunity in you [monitoring inbox](https://support.mercell.com/space/MKB/196723179544/What+is+the+Monitoring+Inbox) or through searching in [Explore](https://support.mercell.com/space/MKB/196544561199/What+is+Explore), you may wish to ensure you receive all future updates as well as contract awards decisions for the business opportunity in question.

‘Start watching’ a business opportunity means that you will receive notifications on email and within the platform for updates on this tender. Updates could include important changes in the business opportunity that is publicly available information and crucial for you to know; such as the tender type, estimated value or duration. In addition, the update notification could include an alert when a comment has been made by a colleague (who must also be a Mercell Bidding user) on a business opportunity.

## \uD83D\uDCD8 How to start watching a business opportunity

Start watching a business opportunity by the click of a button:

1. Navigate to the desired business opportunity card within Explore or your monitoring inbox
2. Select the eye icon to begin watching immediately

> ℹ️ To **stop **watching the business opportunity you can either deselect the eye icon on the business opportunity card, within the tender summary page or via the email notification you receive.
